AGT 8 and AGT 21 are my favorites. The rest are all great, so I can't choose...let's just say ALL of them!
Which AGT dolls, not including the LEs, are your favorites? My list goes like this:
1. AG 25. There is something very special about her. I fell in love with her and became massively attached the second I opened her box and saw her pretty brown eyes. Sometimes it takes me awhile to find the right name and personality for a new doll, but not with Lena - I knew exactly who she was right away! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2. AG 21. This doll has such a unique look to her - there really isn't another AG doll that looks anything like her. Her hair color, style, and eyes are so different and beautiful! Her curls look great out of the pigtails she comes in and her eyes are simply striking. I also think she looks great dressed up in historical clothes as some members here have done. She really seems to be a versatile doll that looks at home in any era or clothing style.
3. AG 22. I may slightly biased here because I have twin AG 22s, which in my house gives them an edge on a lot of the other dolls as far as being cute and special goes. [img]smile.gif[/img] Their hair is a lovely color and is so soft and bouncy. Before I owned this doll, I pictured her as a glamorous girly girl who would only wear sparkly, fancy clothes, but she looks just as good dressed as a sporty tomboy. In person she has so much more personality than the catalog pictures show.
4. AGT 4 (Asian AG). I have the PM version, which looks extremely different from the Mattel one, but I think both versions are gorgeous. I love her deep, dark eyes and her shiny midnight black hair. I think her face looks so perky and cute and so full of personality!
5. AGT 24. I don't have this doll and have never seen her in person, either, so I hesitate to put her on this list...but I have to do so, solely because of SugarMagnolia's pictures of her AG24, Sophie. Her Sophie looks so cute and so personable in every picture, I can't help but fall in love with her. Her long curls and sweet freckles are irresistible!
AGT 8 and AGT 21 are my favorites. The rest are all great, so I can't choose...let's just say ALL of them!
What a coincidence! I now have five AGTs since I just received two more for my birthday. [img]smile.gif[/img]
In the order in which I recieved them:
5 - Mary -Light skin, auburn hair, brown eyes
( My first doll; a gift from my dh and my then 9 yr old dd - 10 years ago. This doll is still as pretty as the day I got her and just as precious! )
21 - Anya -Light skin, curly honey-blond hair, hazel eyes
( In the catalog pics, this doll made my family of Buffy fans think of Anya. When she arrived, I was stunned at how she was even more beautiful in person. She doesn't remind me of the Anya character at all, but the name stuck. She became fast friends with Addy and they have been inseparable ever since. She looks great in Addy's clothes too! )
4 - Amy -Light skin, black hair, brown eyes (Asian)
( I saw her at the AG store and it was like I already knew her. Her name was Amy and she just had to come home with me. )
26 - Jenny -Medium skin, curly dark brown hair, brown eyes
( Jenny is another doll whose name I knew as soon as I saw her in the catalog. My dd just surprised me with her last week, because she knew I had been longing for her. )
18 - Grace -Dark skin, textured black hair, brown eyes
( This sweet doll was also a gift from my dd who had two jobs to pay her way through college, but still decided to do something as crazy as buying her mother TWO dolls! I was amazed when she handed me Jenny. When she handed me this doll too, I went into shock. Then this cuddly little doll just had to be named Grace. [img]smile.gif[/img] )

I intended to choose a Nellie doll, but then I saw AGT4 (Asian) doll and I was lost. She had on purple glasses and I knew immediately that her name was Amy. Well of course once she was named, she had to come home with me. One year later, I finally got my Nellie too. Wasn't she sweet to wait? And aren't I a very lucky lady? AGT #1-My Kadijah. She is a sweet and thoughtful girl. She always puts her sisters needs before her own. She's alwasy willing to go last and I love her for that.
AGOT #2-Gets extra special attention here. Mostly because I feel guilty that I once sold her [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] ! She is a horse lover and loves the horse lover's outfit. I am going to buy her the equestrian outfit soon so that she'll look good in the horse shows.
AGT #11-Actually my absolute favorite girl. So much so that I have 4! All with varying personalities. They are the outdoor environment lover, the dreamer, the princess, and the writer.
AGOT #15-My first Today Girl. She's a fan of all sports. Your typical tomboy. She is not into the frill and lace at all.
AGOT #18-Another of my "favorites". I have the retired version without the bangs who insisted that I adopt her sister (with the bangs). They are my totally opposite twins, Raven and Kiele(bangs).
AGT #26-It was love at first sight. When I first saw her picture posted to the boards, I ran and ordered her through a personal shopper. She reminds me so much of Serena Williams whom I love and admire. She is an awesome tennis player, and the inspiration for my Serena's personality.
I have to say that I love all of my AGs, and I play with them all equally. BUT if I had to give them up, these and Addy(first edition) would stay.

AG 21- the eyes, the hair, everything. . . .she is gorgeous!
AG 22- She is very Scandinavian to me, and more Swedish looking than Kirsten. Love it.
AG 23- She has those freckles and bright blue eyes. I think she looks so bright and adventurous.
AG 25- She is just plain beautiful.
I'm torn on a fifth one . . .so many good ones. The four mentioned above are my absolute favorites though.
Can you tell that 22, 23 and 25 are on my wishlist? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I admit that I'm more interested in collecting historical dolls rather than AGT's, but I must say I do have a few AGT favorites:
- #26 (medium skin, curly dark brown hair, brown eyes). I love her hair!! It is so cute and "springy." She seems like she would have a fun personality. I started liking her when I first saw the pix that people posted on HB--she is a little cutie!
- #21 (light skin, curly honey-blonde hair, hazel eyes). I have been eyeing this AGT forever...like with #26, I think I am in love with her pretty hair. [img]wink.gif[/img]
Oh, dear. Don't encourage me... I only buy AGT's for myself and get the historicals/LE's for Christmas and I really don't want to spend any more money on them...
1. Marie - AGT10 (retired) - probably because she is my first one. I love her hair and her green eyes. She's a princess.
2. Piper - AGT22 - I just love her hair and as an heiress she has such a fun personality!
3. Harper - AGT23 - I fell in love with her because she looks somewhat like me and now I am getting her.
4. Cristel - AGT21 - I just love her hair.
5. Sierra - AGT26 - I love her hair too.
In no particular order except for the first two!
Isabel and I love all the AGT's without bangs. I have to admit that Beth our AGT22 is the princess around here. Isabel loves her the best and every time we get a new outfit Beth gets to try it on first! LOL! So our list looks like this:

#21- I love her honey blond hair and curls! And those eyes, she is the only one with hazel eyes. love the combo!
#10- dark brown hair, green eyes.. missed that one, but someday will have her. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
